How to Choose a Reliable USB Cable? (1)

2025 08/26

people believe that all cables are the same and that any cable will do. Most people think that as long as they know what an Apple Lightning connector, a Type-C connector, and a MicroUSB connector are, that is sufficient.
Often, when people see the connector part of a data cable peeling off, they simply assume it's a quality issue. Apple's data cables are frequently unfairly blamed for this, but in reality, there are many tips and tricks to consider when purchasing data cables.
There are now many types of charging cables available on the market. How should we select the right one?
Introduction to Data Cable Connectors:
Micro USB is a portable version of the USB 2.0 standard, smaller than the Mini USB port used in some mobile phones.
Micro-USB connectors are smaller than standard USB and Mini-USB connectors, saving space. They have a lifespan and strength of up to 10,000 insertions and removals, while providing data transfer and charging, making them particularly suitable for high-speed (HS) or higher-speed data transfer.
On Android flagship smartphones, the USB Type-C interface has gradually replaced the Micro-USB interface. However, it cannot be denied that Micro-USB remains the most widely used interface, extensively employed in digital devices such as smartphones, power banks, speakers, Bluetooth headphones, cameras, and dashcams.
